    COCHIN

    Arrive Kochi also known as Cochin, is a city in Kerala state of south India. The city is popularly & adorably known as the “Queen of the Arabian sea” as it has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Cochin is referred to Gateway to Kerala.  On arrival check into the hotel. Later visit below places: Chinese fishing net: The Chinese fishing nets are another unique attraction to visit while sightseeing in Cochin. They are fixed installations along the shore. Set up on poles made of teak and bamboo and held in place horizontally, the traps are lowered into the water to catch fish. Jewish synagogue: This is the oldest synagogue in India with its construction beginning during the medieval period. It was built on the land adjacent to the Mattancherry Palace, given by the erstwhile King of Cochin and lies within the corner of Jew Town. The synagogue houses many antiques, and features a highly decorative interior reflecting the traditions of the many cultures flourishing along trade routes within the region.Fort Kochi: Fort Kochi has played an important role in the history of Kerala. Fort Kochi also has several attractions just like the Santa Cruz Basilica. It also houses many historical monuments such as the St. Francis Church, the first church of Vasco da Gama, the Dutch Seminary, the China Vela and lots of others. Dinner & Overnight stay at Cochin.

    COCHIN - MUNNAR (127 KMS, 4 HRS)

    This day after breakfast transfer to Munnar. It is a hill station which is famous for its tea plantation, lush green scenery and the long fields along the roads. Located on the Western Ghats of Kerala it is also called the Kashmir of South India because of its green mountains and the constant cold weather making it very pleasant for the people visiting this place. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Relax and enjoy the resort. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel/Resort in Munnar.

    MUNNAR

    After Breakfast, take a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar, Proceed for jeep safari (Optional Cost) covering some of the route which cannot be covered with other vehicles. Hanging Bridge, Ponmudi dam, some untouched villages. Return to Munnar city, have lunch (on your own) & visit below places:Tea Museum & Tea Gardens – Any trip to Munnar begins and ends with tea, Tea is all around you in the verdant countryside of Munnar.  One can visit tea museum which talks about how tea is produced and manufactured & one can also go for tea tasting.Afterwards proceed for remaining sightseeing covering:Mattupetty dam - This is a famous for specialized dairy farm, Mattupetty Dam and Lake for speedboat ride, agricultural gardens, Indo-Swiss Livestock project, and tea plantation; located at a distance of 14 km away from Munnar., One can do boat ride on Optional cost.Eravikullam National Park - Spread over a sprawling area of 97 square kilometers and dotted with lush forests and shola grasslands unique to the region, the park makes for an excellent home to a number of wild species including gaurs, sambar deer, golden jackals, Indian bisons and a variety of mongoose. Amongst all these wild residents, the one which is most celebrated and grabs all the attention is the rare and endangered Nilgiri Tahr; with almost 750 of these threatened mountain goats living here and enjoying a wonderful time amidst their natural environs.Echo point  which is known for its natural phenomenon of resonance, the Echo Point; just stand here and scream, and you would hear back your voice reverberating in the air.  Its scenic gorgeous strewn with a beautiful river flowing by, the grassy hill slopes, verdant tea plantations and fragrant spice gardens makes it an idyllic locale for nature lovers and photography freaks alike. Kundala Lake –  Calm, serene and tranquil; Kundala Lake in Munnar is one of the best nature sightseeing places where one can completely unwind himself from the stress one can stop by here for few hours and soak himself in breath-taking scenery of the place which seems to possess directly made its way out from an image postcard; rolling hills, luxuriant tea gardens, lovely cherry blossoms and vibrant Neela Kurinji flowers that blossom in the region every 12 years, add to the unmatched picturesque charm of the lake.Enjoy scenic beauty at Top station at additional cost.     MUNNAR - THEKKADY (92 KMS, 3 HRS)

    This day after Breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Thekkady.Thekkady: This is a perfect destination for anyone who loves wildlife and nature. Everyone who visits can vouch for the wildlife, natural beauty, and thick evergreen forest. As you wind your way up the road, the wooded terrain clears to reveal a breathtaking plantations, Fill your lungs with fresh mountain air; savor the rich fragrance of cinnamon and cloves. Thekkady is situated 2800 ft above sea level.Enroute visit Spice Plantation: The geographical and climatic peculiarities of Kumily such as the cool climate and its elevation from the sea level make it ideal for spice cultivation. One of the major spices produced in the area is cardamom. The variety, Cardamom Small, botanically known as Elettaria Cardamom, is the one that is mostly grown here. The thick shrub-like cardamom plant usually grows at an altitude of 600 to 1200 meters from mean sea level (msl). Kerala contributes about 70 percent of the national production of cardamom with the major chunk coming from the plantations of Kumily.The pepper plantations are something else that are worth seeing. On arrival check into hotel.Evening you can enjoy Martial art /Kathakali dance at Mudra Center at additional cost. The Mudra Cultural centre is popular for Kalaripayattu martial arts and Kathalkali performances.     THEKKADY - KODAIKANAL (148 KMS, 4 HRS)

    This day after Breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Kodaikanal.Kodaikanal is a small hill station located within the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu & its name translates to ‘Gift of Forest’ which names it as Princess of Hills. It’s alluring views, Lush green forests, mesmerizing view point, numerous waterfalls. At 2,000 meters above water level, the town centers around man-made, star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, bordered by evergreen forest.Enroute photo stop at the famous Pine Forest. Pine Forest: It’s the foremost beautiful and scenic spot in Kodaikanal. It also happens to be an important heritage site within the town that came into existence owing to the tireless efforts of Mr. Bryant who had put the pine plantations in the first place in the year 1906.     KODAIKANAL

    Today Morning after breakfast start early for a full day sightseeing tour of kodaikanal. Guna caves (optional): The Guna Caves in Kodaikanal have an engrossing history; it’s believed that the Pandavas used to cook their meals in these caves, and hence it had been initially called The Devil’s Kitchen. The name was later changed in the ’90s when the film Guna was shot here.You cannot visit the caves anymore since they're now jailed for people’s safety, but it's still deserve some time to even set your eye on that from a distance as you walk through the pine forest.Later Visit Pillar rocks view point: These rocks narrate a yarn of a love story that still touches many hearts. Protruding from within the tall mountains, these pillars reach up to a height of 400 feet thus offering the paramount contour of the hills.Green valley view point: Green Valley View is amongst the very few places to visit in Kodaikanal that gives a bird’s eye view of the Vaigai Dam. Apart from that, it’s a one-stop-shop to get a wholesome view of the enthralling greenery, the cloud-bound valley.India’s first Wax Museum: It’s a liitle museum which displays the Crib, the Last Supper, and some internationally known personalities. In Addition to these, there are some highlights which include Indian saints and personalities such as Adi Shankara, Sai Baba, Gandhiji, Lord Krishna with Gopikas, Indian musicians and Veerappan, the sandalwood smuggler. Vattankal Waterfalls: Right in the middle of a peaceful forest, Vattakanal Falls is among the foremost amazing places to ascertain in Kodaikanal. During monsoon season, the waterfall is in full swing making it look grand and gorgeous. You can sit by Vattakanal Falls and relish some hot lip-smacking delicacies sold by localities while the falls amaze you with all its glamour. Madurai is an ancient city within the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The city’s skyline is dominated by the 14 impressive and colorful gateway towers of the Meenakshi Amman Temple, which is a major pilgrimage site, attracting visitors from all over India and beyond.On arrival check into the hotel & after that visit below place:Thirumalai Nayak Temple Palace: This beautiful palace was inbuilt in 1636 by King Thirumalai Nayak, who ruled Madurai from 1623–1659. It’s believed to be designed by an Italian architect but no details about him are available. The palace is a fusion of Islamic and Dravidian architecture.Gandhi Memorial Museum: Gandhi Memorial Museum not only boasts of an upscale collection but also presents an alluring architecture. It had been inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru. It’s now one of the five Gandhi Sanghralayas (Gandhi Museums) in the country.  It includes a part of the blood-stained garment worn by Gandhi when he was assassinated by Nathuram Godse. However, the temple is certainly one among the ‘Wonders of India’. This historic Hindu temple in the center of Madurai is one among the oldest and largest temples in India.Later, transfer to Madurai Airport for your flight to your home town.
